The Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry trail winds through the rich flora and fauna of Orange Beach all the way to the pristine beach of Gulf State Park. The network of trails traverses four distinct ecosystems and covers 10 miles, allowing for wildlife viewing and exercising at the same time.

Perdido Key is a 247-acre barrier island near Pensacola on the Gulf of Mexico. White sand beaches and rolling dunes covered with sea oats make this park a favorite destination for swimmers and sunbathers. Surf fishing is another popular activity. Boardwalks from the parking lot allow visitors to access the beach without causing damage to the fragile dunes and beach vegetation. Covered picnic tables overlooking the beach provide a great place for family outings.
Gulf Islands National Seashore Perdio Key
(Day Use Only) 8:00 am – sunset Perdido Key is a day use area opened from 8 am to sunset and is located off Florida Route 292 southwest of Pensacola. Turn east on Johnson Beach Road.
Meyer Park

This 12-acre park is located within the heart of downtown Gulf Shores and features picnic shelters and tables, playground equipment, a baseball diamond, and horseshoe pits.
Orange Beach Kids Park

Open to the public year-round. This beautiful family park is located on scenic Wolf Bay. Amenities include a 400’ fishing pier with covered pavilions and seating, picnic shelters with grills, restrooms, paved walking path and parking. Lighted Kids Park with slides, swings and climbing areas. Perfect photograph opportunity with Wolf Bay as a backdrop.
Orange Beach Waterfront Park

Located on beautiful Wolf Bay, this park includes a fishing pier, picnic shelters with grills, paved walking paths, and a lighted kid’s park. Pets must be on a leash and cleaned up after.
